It’s good to collaborate!

I am proud to be a small, independent business and working in Cornwall means you are supported by a network of creative people. I have collaborated with other small businesses and photography students and thought I’d share some of those with you.

Trethek Studio is a new commercial photography company focussing on photography and videography.  They took these beach-scene shots to show my Seaglass jewellery as well as the Ripple and Cowrie Collections.  It was really interesting to work with the model to get the look fitting my brand.

They have also worked on a video for my website to showcase products and we are currently working on a few other projects together which include my workshops and weddings.

Emily contacted me to work on a brief whilst studying wildlife photography at Falmouth University.

One of her briefs was to tell a ‘marine story’ and she asked if we could work together.  We shot at various locations including working in my home studio, collecting seaglass on the beach and hosting workshops.  Shown here are the final 6 images that she chose, earning her a ‘1st’ for her work.

Jo also got in touch when she was a student photographer and we initially worked on a lifestyle shoot.  Since then we have worked together many times and since Jo graduated she has built her own successful photography business in Cornwall.  She has produced some amazing lifestyle shots and workshop images for me which often feature in my advertising.

During lockdown I got to know lots of creatives along my road and got chatting to a neighbour who was making resin art products.  We decided to make a range of jewellery using her off-cuts which would otherwise go to waste.  The necklaces, drop studs and hoop earrings can be found for sale on the website below.

I also designed her a logo for her business and she supplies me with seaglass sometimes too!
