Description
A stunning piece of blue seaglass, set in silver with 3 silver pebbles. Blue is a firm favourite with customers!
The silver pebbles are made by heating silver until it begins to melt. As the silver heats it forms small balls with a lovely textured surface. These are then carefully soldered onto the main setting before the seaglass is set.
The seaglass was beach-combed from Gyllngvase Beach, Falmouth. ‘Gylly’ beach is a popular beach with plenty to do: a range of ice cream flavours to try; beach bakery; popular Gylly Beach cafe; SUP and kayak hire for the more adventurous; home to Gylly Surf Life-saving club and of course sandcastle building and swimming.
This pendant measures approximately 12mm high and 19mm wide and can be hung on a 16″/18″/20″ or 24″ chain. Annie is wearing it on an 24″ chain. If you are unsure of which chain size you’d like, here is a useful guide.
Porth seaglass necklaces are gift packaged in a grey card box, sealed with a turquoise strip and a Porth logo sticker. Each seaglass piece of jewellery comes with a card showing its provenance – perfect for that special touch. If you order arrives protected with bubble wrap or in a padded envelope, this has been recycled to reduce plastic.
