Description
Cobalt Blue seaglass, hand-carved into a droplet shape from seaglass beach-combed on Gyllyngvase beach, Falmouth. When the light hits the seaglass you can see tiny air bubbles and fractures in the glass. In dark light it appears a deep cobalt blue, in direct light it glows a bright cobalt blue. Blue seaglass was traditionally used for storing medicines and is usually over 100 years old, giving it lots of character.
The seaglass measures approximately 15mm tall and 10mm wide, set in recycled silver with a silver chain.
This piece is available on a range of chain lengths. If you are unsure of which to choose, please look at the guide in the FAQ’s. Longer chains are priced slightly differently – these are shown when changing the chain length in the chain length option.
All Porth seaglass necklaces are beautifully packaged in a grey box, with the Porth logo printed in turquoise on top. Each piece of jewellery also comes with a care sheet and a small map showing where it was beach-combed for provenance. Perfect for a special gift.
