Cornflower Blue Seaglass Ring – Tresco, IOS – size P

Description

This bright blue seaglass is always a popular colour of seaglass.  When the light hits it the colour glows.  A real eye-catcher.   This handmade ring has a lightly hammered band.  The seaglass size is approximately 12mm high and 8mm wide.

The sea glass in this ring was beach-combed on Tresco in the Isles of Scilly. The island is known for its tropical Abbey Gardens and white sandy beaches.  You can also find old forts, ancient settlements, a lake which attracts migrating birds and glorious views across to the other islands.

Cornflower blue seaglass was originally used for bottling medicines and is frequently found in harbours.  You can read more about seaglass colours here.
