Cornish seaglass beachcombed on Flushing Beach. The seaglass studs have been carved from the same piece of seaglass as they feature many air bubbles. These bubbles were created through old processes of glass-making and can de dated as being older than 100 years old. They are very similar in size and shape and look Light Teal Blue in direct light and Light Aquamarine on darker days.
The studs measure approximately 7mm wide and 11mm high each, set in silver and attached to 9.5 mm stud posts. Sterling silver scrolls are supplied with the earrings.
The village of Flushing sits on the river Fal on the opposing shore to Falmouth Harbour and has a lovely small sandy beach and quay.
All Porth seaglass jewellery is beautifully packaged in a grey box, sealed with a turquoise strip. Each seaglass piece of jewellery also comes with a small card showing where it was beach-combed for provenance. Perfect for a special gift.
