Description
This Light Teal Grey piece of seaglass was beachcombed in Portloe. It has been carefully set into silver and attached to the fine chain by two silver circles. The seaglass size is approximately 12mm wide and 14mm high.
Portloe is a delightfully unspoilt, old fishing harbour on the Roseland, a few miles from Veryan. in the early twentieth century this harbour had over 50 boats fishing from it, today only a few remain, catching crabs and lobsters. Its high cliffs and sheltered landing made it perfect for smuggling, especially French Brandy!
This piece is available on a range of chain lengths. If you are unsure what each length looks like, please read about chain lengths in the FAQ’s. Longer chains are priced slightly differently – these are shown when changing the chain length option.
All Porth seaglass necklaces are beautifully packaged in a grey box, sealed with a turquoise strip. Each seaglass piece of jewellery also comes with a small card showing where it was beach-combed for provenance. Perfect for a special gift.
