Olive Yellow Seaglass Ring – St Marys, IOS – size R

Description

An unusual shade of seaglass in Olive Yellow.  It has been beautifully shaped by the ocean in to a pear-drop shape and was found on St Mary’s, Isles of Scilly.  The band has a line hammered texture; the seaglass size is approximately 14mm high and 8mm wide.

The Isles of Scilly are situated 28 miles off the coast of Cornwall in the Atlantic Ocean.  St Mary’s is the largest of the islands with the largest population.  It is here that the Scillonian ferry docks and the airport is situated with smaller ferries linking you onwards to the other islands.  The islands main settlement is Hugh Town where you will find plenty of eating establishments, shops, galleries and other facilities.  The island boasts many white sandy beaches, ancient settlements and glorious views across to the other islands. A perfect day-trip destination from Penzance.
