Description
Pink seaglass is rare! This piece was found in Falmouth Harbour and has been hand shaped.
Pink seaglass is very old. The pigment colour was very expensive and so clear bottles were made and a thin layer of the colour added to the inside. This colour was therefore used for more precious bottles such as perfume. The piece in this ring has been made this way, making it even more special and a real treasure.
The band has a line hammered finish which bounces the light around to give a sparkly effect. The seaglass size is approximately 8mm in diameter. The sea glass was beach-combed in Falmouth Harbour, Cornwall. Falmouth Bay provides shelter to the coastline and the Fal estuary and has many beaches and coves. Quite often beach-combing walks take in many beaches along the coast path.
Porth seaglass rings are gift packaged in a grey card box with the logo printed in turquoise. Each seaglass ring comes with special map card showing its provenance – unique to Porth jewellery and perfect for that special touch. A care guide is also included.
Unfortunately the ring size cannot be changed.
