Soft Green Seaglass Ring – Pelistry, St Marys, IOS – size L

Description

A bright piece of seaglass with wonderful texture made by the ocean.  The piece was found on Pelistry Beach, St Mary’s, Isles of Scilly.  The band has a round hammered texture which bounces the light around and sparkles.  The seaglass size is approximately 18mm high and 14mm wide.

The Isles of Scilly are situated 28 miles off the coast of Cornwall in the Atlantic Ocean.  St Mary’s is the largest of the islands with the largest population.  It is here that the Scillonian ferry docks and the airport is situated with smaller ferries linking you onwards to the other islands.  The islands main settlement is Hugh Town where you will find plenty of eating establishments, shops, galleries and other facilities.  The island boasts many white sandy beaches, ancient settlements and glorious views across to the other islands. A perfect day-trip destination from Penzance.
