Teal Green Seaglass Ring – Greenbank – Size O

Description

A rare and vibrant colour of seaglass, beach combed on Greenbank in Falmouth.  The teal green seaglass makes the perfect mermaid ring, set on a sterling silver band textured with Cornish granite.

The seaglass measures approximately 7mm x 6mm.  The ring band has been textured by being hammered on to granite to reflect the rugged and beautiful land forms that make up Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.  The ring is size O.  If you are unsure of your ring size then you can purchase a ring sizer here.

Greenbank has a small beach which is accessible at low tide, nestled between Greenbank Hotel and the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club.  Behind the beach is an impressive terrace of large houses, many of which were built as houses for Packet Captains relating to the movement of Packet Ships for news and information.  At the southern end of the terrace was the old Falmouth Prison.  Many interesting finds can be uncovered here including numerous old clay pipes and pottery.
