Description
Cornflower blue seaglass is sought-after and increasingly hard to find. Found on Porth Mellon, this piece would have originated from a medicine bottle. The seaglass has been hand-shaped, retaining the wonderful surface texture from the ocean tides. The seaglass has a boho vibe with recycled silver balls and a wire lotus leaf shape to attach the pendant to the chain. The seaglass measures approximately 8 mm wide and 12 mm tall, with the overall pedant dimensions being approximately 8 mm wide and 22 mm tall.
Porth Mellon is a sparkling white sandy beach on the west coast of St Mary’s. Backed by sand dunes and the gig club it is a short walk from the centre of Hugh Town. The Isles of Scilly are situated 28 miles off the coast of Cornwall in the Atlantic Ocean. St Mary’s is the largest of the islands and boasts many white sandy beaches, ancient settlements and glorious views across to the other islands. A perfect day-trip destination from Penzance.
This piece is available on a range of chain lengths. If you are unsure please read about chain lengths in the FAQ’s. Longer chains are priced slightly differently – these are shown when changing the chain length in the chain length option.
Porth seaglass rings are gift packaged in a grey card box, with the Porth logo printed on it. Each seaglass necklace comes with special map card showing its provenance – unique to Porth jewellery and perfect for that special touch.
