Iolite Granite Pendant – Laura Polley

Description

Granite-textured silver pendant featuring organic saltwater castings and a faceted iolite stone. Inspired by the Cornish coast — where rugged rock meets the Atlantic.

This collection has been inspired by water and the ocean.  Each shape is made using recycled silver and cast into Atlantic Ocean seawater.  The result is these fluid unique and organic shapes. Some of the casts are reminiscent of water droplets or splashes on rocks, others of sea beans – seed pods that move around the ocean and can be carried for thousands of miles between continents.
