Description
Light teal seaglass looks just like the summer Cornish coast. This was beachhcombed from Polgwidden Cove (Trebah Beach). The light teal seaglass has been set on a sterling silver frame, hammered with granite from the Cornish coastline. A textured semi-circle and jump ring add the piece to a silver belcher chain.
The seaglass measures approximately 9 x 7 mm and the pendant is 21 x 14 mm.
Trebah beach, known as Polgwidden Cove, can only be accessed through the gardens which are a tropical paradise featuring a steam, ponds, bamboo walkways and forests of tree ferns. The beach was used by the 29th US Infantry Division as an embarkation point for D-Day on their way to Omaha Beach. A memorial overlooking the beach commemorates these soldiers. Today, the beach is a calm, sheltered spot to watch the water, have an ice cream and relax.
This piece is available on a range of chain lengths. If you are unsure please read about chain lengths in the FAQ’s. Longer chains are priced slightly differently – these are shown when changing the chain length in the chain length option.
Porth seaglass rings are gift packaged in a grey card box, with the Porth logo printed on it. Each seaglass necklace comes with special map card showing its provenance – unique to Porth jewellery and perfect for that special touch.
