Salt Water Studs – Laura Polley

Description

This collection  of salt water studs is part of the Laura Polley range. Each shape is made using recycled silver and cast into Atlantic Ocean seawater.  The result is these fluid unique and organic shapes. Some of the casts are reminiscent of water droplets or splashes on rocks, others of sea beans – seed pods that move around the ocean and can be carried for thousands of miles between continents.

As each cast is unique you can choose your studs from the drop-down menu.  Sizes are approximate and similar castings have been chosen to make pairs.

A: splash with 24ct gold keum boo – approx 8mm diameter

B: tiny splash with 24ct gold keum boo – approx 4mm diameter

C: large statement splash – 18mm largest diameter

D: small splash – approx 5mm diameter

E: splash – approx 9mm diameter

F: flat bean – approx 5mm diameter

G: bean/splash – approx 4mm diameter

H: splash – largest diameter approx 12mm

I: large statement splash – 20mm largest diameter
